Adelante’s Benefits Connection Center can screen you for a majority of the benefits available through governmental services. When your Benefits Check-up is complete, we’ll know what benefits you are eligible to receive and our team of benefits assistants can help you enroll in the programs you qualified for in the list below.
We can help enroll for the following benefits:
Medicare Part D Low Income Subsidy (LIS, or Extra Help) helps people with limited incomes and resources pay for their Medicare prescription drug costs.
Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs) help beneficiaries afford Medicare premiums, deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments for their inpatient and outpatient health care.
Medicaid pays for a broad range of medical services for low-income seniors, younger adults living with disabilities, and children and their family caregivers.
SNAP the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamps) provides credits on electronic cards that enable recipients to buy nutritious food at participating stores.
LIHEAP The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program provides grants to states to assist qualified individuals with their home heating and cooling costs. As long as the state funds last, the program ensures that low-income people do not have to choose between paying energy bills and buying food or other basic requirements.
Back in Use helps provide assistive medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other devices to seniors and people who cannot afford them.
Ticket to Work helps people who are receiving SSI, SSDI, or other benefits and want to get back into the workforce and increase their quality of life by helping them rely less on the government for income.
Employment Assistance (for People with Disabilities) Adelante offers many employment opportunities through Social Enterprises that offer business services, or through the EmployAbility program.
