By participating in Adelante's program, businesses get reliable, motivated employees and in return, our program participants are able to work rather than rely on social assistance. Furthermore, by employing a person with a disability, businesses may qualify for wage support programs and tax credits. Adelante Employment Services benefits people with disabilities, the businesses we serve, and the entire community--economically and socially.  

Adelante’s services to local businesses through the Employment Services program include:

• Locating potential employees
• Training by professional job coaches
• Setting up a work environment including equipment
• Supporting the employee on the job
• Performance review meetings with the employee and the supervisor
• On-site visits
• Introductory and ongoing training (When the nature of a job changes, our job coach helps businesses to retrain the workers we located for them, at no extra cost.)
